Open Streets Minneapolis on FRANKLIN this Sunday!

Open Streets MPLS FranklinOpen Streets Minneapolis is happening again on Franklin Avenue this Sunday from 11am-5pm. Our event stretches from 28th in Seward all the way to Portland in Phillips. RSVP to the Facebook event here. If you’d like to volunteer, they’d still welcome the help! This just came in from one of their volunteer coordinators, Erika:

Hello Everyone!!!

We are currently looking for more volunteers at our Open Streets Minneapolis events on Franklin Avenue (August 16th) and in Downtown (August 23rd)!! They are going to be super fun events and we’d love to see you there!

We are really looking for volunteers at our Pop-Up Protected Bikeway Demonstration at both of these events. The Pop-Up Protected Bikeway demonstrates a bikeway that is separated from traffic by physical barriers and encourages event goers to let city council members know what they think by signing our Bikeways for Everyone postcards.

If you would like to find our more about either of these opportunities and to volunteer you can click on these links
