Mon Petit Cheri, moving in!

As sad as it is to see the Himalayan move to a new location, it’s exciting to await what comes next. Mon Petit Cheri is moving into the space, and apparently they’ll be carrying Dogwood Coffee. Mmm…!

Saturday’s Lighting Ceremony

One of the beautiful traditions of the Seward Winter Frolic is the Lighting Ceremony. UPDATE: This beautiful tradition has now been CANCELLED for 2013 due to inclement (really cold) weather.

At 5pm on Sat., day #1 of the art crawl, folks will gather at Triangle Park to drink hot chai by Verdant Tea around a fire, watch an electric performance by fire dancers and the Women’s Drum Center, and watch the spectacle of the park’s trees come to life with hundreds of lights in shifting colors. These lights will remain on throughout the winter to warm Seward hearts and spirits.

The Lighting Ceremony will be the perfect way to end your day!
