Opening Reception during Greenway Glow: Saturday June 20 @ 8pm – midnight

The June 20th opening is also a destination for the Greenway Glow, a nighttime bike ride fundraiser for the Midtown Greenway Coalition.

Vine Arts Center invites you to come play at the “Night Gallery” : an interactive art exhibit where art illuminates the darkness by painting with light, projection, and shadow play.
Join Vine Arts Center members in co-creating a day glow painting exhibit in the “Black Light Studio”. See Vine Arts Center members’ latest creations in the “Member Cafe”.
Check out “Stan the 3D Man and his amazing 3D Shadows” + our Glowing Vines !

Fire, s’mores, hot dogs, Summer Solstice FUN !
Enjoy an evening of creative wonder and surprise.

Greenway Glow Arts Festival and Night Bike Ride on June 20th!

6 p.m. – Midnight

Join us for the BIGGEST and BRIGHTEST night on the Greenway!  Featuring more than 30 art installations and performances in and along the corridor.

The arts festival is free, while the bike ride has a registration fee and donations that raise funds to support the Greenway.

Volunteer for the Greenway Glow:  Volunteer

We will also be organizing a “Family Glow” from 6 – 9 p.m., located in the Soo Line Community Garden (one block east of Lyndale).  The free Family Glow will feature hands-on “make and take” art activities for kids.  It will kick off the larger Greenway Glow arts festival that will be from 8 p.m. – Midnight throughout the Greenway.

Everyone is welcome to join us at the new Soo Visual Arts Center on Bryant from 8 p.m. – Midnight.  There will be live music, gallery exhibis, and you can purchase tasty hot dogs and sausages from Prairie Dogs and drinks from bartenders from Bryant-Lake Bowl.  Free admission.

Spinning Stories: Stories After Dark – Kate Kunkel Bailey “Currency” – Listen to tales by talented storytellers and ride along to hear more at two other locations along the Midtown Greenway. 9:30 p.m. and again at 11:30 p.m.

Vine Arts Center will also be featuring Night Gallery, art illuminating the darkness, painting with light, projection and shadow-play. Vine Arts will also have ambient bass music provided by Charles Milkey.
