Open Streets Mpls on Franklin Ave. needs YOU!

Sunday AugBike helmet decorating at ArtiCulture_That is a dinosaurust 16th from 11am-5pm, Open Streets Mpls is taking over Franklin Avenue again from 28th to Portland, spanning Cedar Ave. and connecting Seward and Phillips! Read more about it here.

In the lead up to the event, and the day of, it’s takes hundreds of people and people power hours to make Open Streets happen. If you’re feeling the spirit and want to get involved, there are lots of important volunteer needs you can fill. At the moment, we need a crew of folks to visit the businesses along Franklin and hand out fliers letting business owners know how they can get involved with a spot on the street. Closer to the event, we’ll send another crew out to all of Seward to remind residents that the event is coming up. This is a fun and easy way to meet new people and support something awesome and community building.
