Winter Frolic Activities: The Artists@Faith is a collective of more than eight artists showing quality works of art in several media including ceramics, pottery, weaving and clothing, jewelry, landscape and nature photography, and painting collages. Joining us this year, Fair Trade crafts from Ten Thousand Villages. This year we will again be hosting the Somali women and their weaving. On Saturday afternoon from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. the Somali weavers will be doing a “hands-on demonstration of their weaving technique. On Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to Noon. the youth at Faith will be doing a “Bake Sale” fundraiser with fresh from the oven baked treats and beverages. Sunday afternoon we will be hosting our fourth annual folk music “Community Sing” with Linda Breitag and Ray Makeever. This event is FREE, made possible through the generous financial donations of our sponsors, Seward Coop, Community of St. Martins, Faith Church and the Artists@Faith. The sing is a community building event for the whole family so grab the kids, grand folks and friends and come raise your voice in a joyous fun, Sunday 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Faith Mennonite Church is located one block south of the Seward Coop.
