Artist Bio:

She/her pronouns, hello my name is Donna Ray. I am an African American ceramic artist /writer of many past multicultural heritages from beyond. Severely visually impaired since birth. In my chosen discipline of the Clay arts for over twenty years. I been selected the BISQUE Emerging artist for Northern Clay Center in 2019 now in 2021 retain a studio residence at NCC. I had been blessed to be apart of NCC emerging artist show January 2021 and had my first solo show for Art For All University of Minnesota Institute of Community Integration April 2021. I was honored in July 2021 to participate in my first group show exclusively for individuals with disabilities, Cliff Are Poet(z), at the Northrop King bldg. Group show Minnesota Women Ceramic Artist . Exhibition title A Survey of Current Work at University of St Mary Winona Mn . In my discipline of writing, I have been writing “Donna’s Corner” for 4 years MNWCA newsletter. I serve as community resident artist for The Workshop located at 5004 34th Ave. S in Mpls. I am a Community board member for Seward Neighborhood Group.
