What do you make or do?
I was born in Alexandria, VA and grew up in Sioux Falls, SD. I moved to the Twin Cities in 2005 and have been working and making art ever since. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts in 2008 and a Master of Science in Nursing in 2017. My work is located at the intersections of several themes. Among them are the concepts of embodiment, transformation through nature and the environment, science, time, space, place and the creative process itself. I am fascinated by the translation of abstract concepts into meaningful figures and shapes, as well as reflecting experiences of the natural world. Additionally, I explore different styles and ways of working through various commissions.
