From the artist: “Although I work in many media–painting, collage, and three-dimensional forms including miniature shrines and art dolls–everything I do features fanciful beings that are mainly, though not exclusively, feline in appearance. These hybrid beings allow me to express my imagination most clearly and immediately. Art became a second career for me about twenty years ago. I began as an academic and continue to find inspiration in my literary and art-historical background.”
