From the Artist: I started drawing when I was old enough to hold a crayon, and then moved on to experiment with many types of media over the years. In 2004, I began painting with watercolor and fell in love with it. I’ve worked with water-soluble oils and acrylics, but continue to return to watercolor for its transparency and the way it responds to multiple layering of color, creating the saturation of color I look for. Most recently I’ve started working again in acrylics, painting on small panels. I photograph some of my work and create cards and magnets from the image.
