Peter D’Ascoli has worked in both ceramics and medicine for over 40 years across the US. He is drawn to pottery because of the pleasure of touch. His ceramics includes thrown, handbuilt, functional and sculptural pieces. He makes functional work that is approachable and touches every day life as well as sculptural objects that have a formal presence.
You can find Peter’s bowls and functional pots at the Ivy Building, Suite #223 during the Seward Winter Frolic on Saturday, Dec. 7, 10am-5pm and Sunday Dec. 8, 12-5pm.
