Julie Reneé Benda is a writer, illustrator and occasional cartoonist with a background in printmaking. Her vibrant cut-paper prints draw from the folktales, mythology and symbolism of plants and animals, telling colorful stories of nature’s cycles and rebirth found in literature and the environment.
Her work has been featured on the cover of Make MN magazine, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency and Ball Pit Magazine.
