Community Sing, Somali Weaving Demonstration, and more at Faith Mennonite during the Frolic

Stop by Faith Mennonite Church on Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3 for a wide range of fun activities. See below for the full schedule:

Saturday, December 2

10:00am – 12:00pm, Fresh out of the oven, baked treats and coffee for sale Saturday morning. A fundraiser for the church youth.

12:00 – 1:00pm, Hot Sambusas and Somali Tea available for purchase at Faith.

2:00 – 3:00pm, Weaving demonstration by the Somali Weavers

 

Sunday, December 3

2:00-3:00pm, Free Community Sing– Join your friends & neighbors in a folk song sing-a-long, an event for everyone, young & old. We’ll lift our voices, warm our hearts and toes, and sing to celebrate the arts!

More About this Community Sing: This will be an opportunity for friends and neighbors to sing together in celebration of ourselves, our neighborhood and our wider community. An event for everyone, with songs to support and build on our community spirit. Bring the kids, bring the grandparents, bring your friends and neighbors for an hour of easy-to-sing popular songs led by Linda Breitag and Ray Makeever.  Linda Breitag and Ray Makeever have led numerous community sings and they will have us filling the halls with full and joyous voices.
