Diane’s current passion is eco printing or botanical printing, which is contact printing of leaves onto silk and other fabrics. Colors come from natural dyes and pigments from the leaves. She also makes functional pottery, often fired in a soda kiln for the atmospheric effects it offers on textured surfaces.
Diann will be showing at her home, 2217 32nd Avenue South on on Saturday, Dec. 2 and Sunday, Dec. 3.
