Open Streets Franklin is happening again this year! Save the date: Sunday, August 21st from 11am – 5pm.
Businesses that would like to participate with presence on the street can sign up here. The deadline to apply is July 22nd.
New this year!: The Seward Civic and Commerce Association has mini grants available to encourage new businesses to participate, and to support even bigger programming efforts for those who have participated in the past. (Think $50-$200 range).
ALSO. We’re really excited to involve more artists, more East African neighbors and business owners, and more businesses from the greater area of Seward not directly on Franklin Ave. There will be plenty of room for everyone, we promise!
Reach out to Deb Ervin at deborah@articulture.org if you have interest, questions, or an ideas about any of the above. If you’d like to help with outreach and planning, send her a note about that, too! The more the merrier.
Open Streets events rely heavily on volunteer support. Folks who would like to get involved that way can sign up here.
Everyone else – – save the date and we’ll see you in the street on August 21st!
