At Home in a Wide Echoing Land :
How places resonate as we travel Earth
March 26 – April 9, 2016
Opening Reception: Saturday, March 26th 6 – 9pm
Closing Reception: Saturday, April 9th 6 – 9pm
Vine Arts Center member Tanya Beyer brings her natural history painting and poetry down from the boreal latitudes into the gallery. The paintings are intimate, up-close looks at wild nature subjects, with some pieces reflecting environmental threats we confront in common with our irreplaceable wild community. Tanya paints with a trained eye in forests, bogs and clifftops, at various locations including Minnesota public and private lands north of Lake Superior, as well as northern Ontario.
