Common Ground Meditation Center will hold its fifth annual Festival of Music noon to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, September 19 at the center, 2700 East 26th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55406. Admission is free.
This outdoor concert will feature musical performances by Ellis, Dean Magraw, Larry Long, Linda Breitag, and Alex Goldfarb; spoken word by Louis Alemayehu; and dance calling by Ann Carter. A family fun area will have activities and games for children. Neighborhood restaurants will offer food for purchase.
Donations will be accepted to support area charitable organizations: Soup for You! Café at Bethany, Doing Good Together, Project Sweetie Pie, Center for Earth, Energy & Democracy, and Juxtaposition Arts. For more information about the festival or organizations, visit:
