I know that it is still summer and many of you are just gearing up for Lola on September 19th, believe it or not it is time to register for the Seward Winter Frolic. The Art Crawl portion of the Seward Winter Frolic will once again be held the first weekend in December on December 5th and 6th. Early registration specials end September 15th.
We are very excited about the Frolic this year. After much searching we have found places to hang new banners, we have a few new places on Franklin for artists to exhibit, the Vine Arts Center is holding their Holiday Sale during the Seward Winter Folic and we are working with businesses to add new activities during the frolic.
You can register here and if you have any questions about the Frolic please don’t hesitate to email me. We are also always looking for new volunteers on our committee and we would love to have you join us.
Please look at your artist page on www.sewardarts.org and make sure it is accurate and portrays you the way you want to be portrayed. We will keep the photos of your artwork the same unless you send us new photos for us to use.
If you register (and pay) on or before September 15th the price for participation is only $25. After September 15th the price goes up to $30 and if you wait for until October 26th – October 30th you will have to pay $40. I know that $5 or $10 dollars isn’t much of a difference but wouldn’t you rather spend that money on a treat somewhere?
If you aren’t involved in Lola but would like to exhibit your work in September you can still sign up for a table at King’s Fair on September 19th. If you sign up for both King’s Fair and the Frolic you will only pay a total of $50 for both events. You can register for King’s Fair here.
