Steve McClellan – one of Minnesota’s gems thanks to his work as manager of First Avenue back in the hayday of the 80’s and early 90’s – is opening up a new music center right in Seward! Andrea Swensson from The Current talked with him about it here.

The center (located at 3530 E. 28th St.) is having an open house this Saturday, September 12th from 2-6pm, with music to follow from 6-8pm.

In an open letter on Seward E-Democracy list serv, Steve also invited neighborhood musicians who would like to be involved Saturday to reach out. From Steve, “Any musicians from the neighborhood that might like to perform on the grass out front during the 2PM-6PM time period or on the stage from 6PM until 8PM – contact me (Stephen McClellan) at either 612-432-1292 or steve.mcclellan@gmail.com …”
