Friday afternoon the Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition made the announcement! Franklin Ave. will be filled with food, activities, families, and BIKES again this year on Sunday August 16th!
“We’re happy to announce that Open Streets Minneapolis is back for 2015, and bigger and better than ever! We are excited to have been invited to hold even more new events, and look forward to working with local residents, community groups, neighborhood groups, and businesses to make sure the events are a huge success!
A big thank you to the Kingfield Neighborhood Association and the Lyndale Neighborhood Association (LNA) for hosting the Nicollet Ave S Open Streets event.
Open Streets Minneapolis is an initiative of the Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition supported by the City of Minneapolis, and presented by the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Center for Prevention.
Stay tuned for more details on route specifics coming soon!
