Seward Gateway Sculpture Unveiling Event Sat. 12/7
ArtiCulture, over at 2613 E. Franklin, has been hard at work on their 3rd Seward public art project. This time they’ve created an 8′ tall house shaped mosaic sculpture reflecting on the collective understanding of home and community. You can read all about the project on their website’s blog page here.
The unveiling for the sculpture, which will be placed on the west side of Firestation #7 as a gateway piece to Seward, is set to kick off Day #! of the Winter Frolic on Sat. 12/7 at 10am. Details of the event are still being worked out, but word has it there will be a parade at the end, including a firetruck, art cars, and decorated bikes. Put this on your radar, Folks!
